r. Raymond Wiggins is a sixth generation Texan. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University at age 19. He then worked in the business community for 4 years before deciding to attend dental school. Dr. Wiggins earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Texas A & M University Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A & M School of Dentistry). Dr. Wiggins was awarded membership in the Baylor Odontological Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor society. Following dental school, Dr. Wiggins completed a six year M.D.-integrated oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UT-Houston. During this time he completed 36+ months of oral and maxillofacial surgery rotations, earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from UT-Houston Medical School (now McGovern Medical School), and completed a general surgery internship. Dr. Wiggins is licensed by the State of Texas to practice both medicine and dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of The Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Edward C.
